It has been reported that there has been a robbery on a container ship whilst anchored in Manila Bay, Philippines (exact time and position not specified). Duty crew observed two perpetrators on the forecastle. The alarm was raised, the crew mustered, and the robbers escaped using a small craft. After investigating, it was discovered that the bosun's store had been broken into and five 20L paint drums and three could of electrical cable had been stolen.
