Open sources have reported that a naval mine was washed ashore on Midia firing range beach, Constanta. Initial reports state that military personnel discovered a naval mine that had washed ashore on the beach in front of the range. The area was cordoned with support from the Constanta County Police. Near by buildings were notified and a team of underwater demining specialists, from 39th Diving Engineer Centre, neutralized the threat.
