| It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Malaysia-flagged tugboat towing a barge whilst underway in the Eastbound Lane of Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. UPDATE: Further information has now been received that it was a confirmed robbery. The captain reported that three sampans were sighted with an unknown number of perpetrators onboard and that scarp metal was stolen. Sources report that all crew are safe and accounted for and the vessel is continuing its voyage to Vietnam. | |||||
