| It has been reported that a Chinese fishing vessel was boarded in the Gulf of Guinea whilst underway between Port Gentil and Libreville. Seven Chinese crew members were abducted. UPDATE: The vessel was operating approximately 7nm South South West of Ekwata in Gabon waters. Nine crew members were kidnapped comprising of five Chinese and four Indonesian nationals. Following the incident the vessel and its three remaining crew were escorted into Libreville by the Gabonese Military vessel MENDENE. | |||||
