It has been reported that there has been a robbery involving a Singaporean-flagged tug towing a barge whilst underway in the Eastbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. The Master of the tug informed that nine perpetrators were seen onboard the barge stealing items of scrap metal. All the crew were reported as safe, the vessel did not require any assistance, and continued her voyage to Vietnam.
