It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Liberian flagged bulk carrier whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew sighted three perpetrators armed with batons in the engine room. The Captain confirmed that all the crew were safe and accounted for, and that nothing had been stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her voyage to Singapore.
