It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a bulk carrier whilst underway in the Eastbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme of the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew sighted four perpetrators armed with knives in the steering gear compartment. The Captain confirmed that all the crew were safe and accounted for, and that a number of engine spares had been stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her voyage to Singapore.
