Open source reports state that there has been an explosion onboard an oil tanker possibly part of the Russian shadow fleet whilst at anchor in Dakar, Senegal on 28th November 2025 (time and exact location not specified). As a consequence the vessel has suffered severe structural damage below the waterline on both port and starboard sides.
