| It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery on a Liberia-flagged cargo vessel whilst berthed at, Berth 12 Lagos Port (exact time not specified). The Police intercepted a suspicious speed boat, and observed seven perpetrators onboard who were seen stretching a long bamboo pole in an attempt to board the vessel. The perpetrators were equipped to steal with various tools and a rope located on the speedboat. The seven robbers were arrested and transferred to the Port Criminal Investigation Department. | |||||
