The IMB have received a report stating that a vessel was boarded whilst underway to Tema Pilot Station, Ghana. The authorities have been informed and are investigating. Clearwater have received further information that the vessel involved is a Panama-flagged Ro-Ro vessel and that initial reports indicate six persons have been spotted onboard. It is not clear at this time if the persons were able to board the vessel on the approach to Tema, or if they boarded the vessel at a previous port. UPDATE: It has been reported that the Ghanaian Navy dispatched a patrol boat before intercepting and boarding the vessel. Ten perpetrators were located and detained.
