The MDAT-GoG has received a report that a vessel activated its SSAS system after being followed by a small craft 33nm South of Cotonou, Benin. A local military unit responded to the situation, after which the small craft departed the area. UPDATE: The MDAT-GoG have stated that the Master reported the small craft was black in colour with three persons onboard. The small craft followed the vessel for approximately two hours. Clearwater have received further information that the vessel involved was a Bermuda-flagged LPG tanker and that no weapons or ladders were seen onboard the small craft, the three persons onboard were in casual clothes and wearing life jackets.
