It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Malta-flagged tanker while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. A duty crewmember was restrained by three perpetrators in the engine room but managed to escape unharmed. The robbers were observed by the crewmember taking spare parts for the vessels engine. All crew have been reported as safe and the vessel's continued her transit to Ulsan, South Korea.
