It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery on a UK-flagged cargo vessel whilst anchored at Tema anchorage, Ghana (exact position not specified). Reports state that two small boats with approximately 6 to 7 perpetrators were observed. It is reported that the crew applied BPM procedures and that the incident lasted 25 minutes. The crew are reported safe, and the incident has been escalated to the relevant authorities.
