The UKMTO have received a report from the Master of a vessel, stating that a splash and explosion occurred in close proximity to the vessel, whilst underway approximately 120nm East-southeast of Aden, Yemen (exact position not specified). The vessel and crew are reported safe and the vessel is continuing to her next port of call. Clearwater have received further information that the vessel reporting the incident was a Netherlands-flagged general cargo vessel.
