It has been reported that a robbery took place on board a Singapore-flagged tanker while underway in the Eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. Duty crew noticed a door behind the galley was left ajar. A search was conducted which confirmed some engine spares had been stolen and the perpetrators had escaped. The incident was assessed to have taken place between 02:00 and 04:00 local time. All crew were accounted for and no injuries were reported. The vessel continued her voyage to Vietnam.
