| It has been reported that a robbery has occurred on a container ship, whilst in Belawan Anchorage, Indonesia. Four robbers were spotted to be armed with knives, before they threatened the duty crew and tied them up. The Officer on watch attempted to contact the duty crew, but did not receive a response, so immediately raised the alarm, which caused the remaining crew to become alert, and for the robbers to escape. It has been reported that the robbers stole the ship's properties, stores and crew personnel effects. The incident was reported to the Vessel Traffic Services. | |||||
