It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on board a Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting three unarmed robbers in the engine room. Following the incident, all crew were reported as safe and nothing was reported stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued on to her next port of call in Singapore.
