Open-source reports state that overnight, Israeli Defence Forces conducted airstrikes on the ports of Hodeidah, Ras Isa and Salif, Yemen (exact time not specified). According to the reports, the Israeli Military have stated the targets struck were used by the Iranian-backed Houthi regime to transfer weapons and conduct terror activity against Israel and global shipping. Reports state that the vessel Galaxy Leader that was seized by the Houthis in November 2023 was included in this strike, which according to the Israeli Military, "Houthi forces installed a radar system on the ship and have been using it to track vessels in the international maritime arena to facilitate further terrorist activity".
