It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on board a Kuwait-flagged tanker while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting three robbers attempting to board the vessel, resulting in the perpetrators abandoning their attempt. Following the incident, all crew were reported as safe. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued on to her next port of call in Qingdao.
