It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on board a Malta-flagged tanker underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Crew reported sighting six unarmed robbers at the stern of the ship. Following the incident, all crew were reported as safe and nothing was reported as stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued on to her next port of call in Singapore.
