It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on board a Liberia-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting four robbers armed with knives on the deck. All crew were reported as safe and nothing has been reported as stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and is continuing to her next port of call in Singapore.
