It has been reported that a robbery occurred on a Cameroon-flagged tanker whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew spotted four robbers in the engine room, one of the perpetrators was holding a gun-like object. The alarm was raised which resulted in the robbers escaping with items of engine spares. The Master reported all crew as safe and accounted for. The vessel continued to her next port of call in China.
