It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on a Liberia-flagged tanker while transiting the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting four unarmed robbers at the stern of the ship. Following the incident, all crew were reported as safe and nothing has been confirmed as stolen. The vessel required no assistance and continued to her next port of call in Singapore.
