It has been reported that an attempted robbery took place on a Liberia flagged bulk carrier while transiting the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew reported sighting six robbers armed with knives in the engine room. Following the incident, all crew were reported as safe and nothing has been confirmed as stolen. The vessel required no assistance and continued to her next port of call in Singapore.
