It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Six perpetrators armed with knives and a gun-like object were observed in the engine room. The Captain reported that all crew were safe and that engine spares had been stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her voyage to Singapore.
