It has been reported that there was an attempted robbery on a Malaysia-flagged barge under tow as the vessel transited through the Singapore Strait. The crew reported a number of perpetrators on the barge. Following the incident, the shipmaster reported all crew safe, and nothing was reported as stolen from the vessel. The vessel didn't require any assistance and continued her transit to her next port of call in Sarawak, Malaysia.
