It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Malta-Flagged Bulk Carrier whilst underway in the Phillip channel, Singapore Strait. Three robbers were spotted by duty crew on the poop deck, which resulted in the perpetrators escaping. The Master confirmed that all crew were safe and accounted for and the vessel does not require any assistance. The vessel was continuing to its next port of call in Singapore.
