It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a Cyprus-flagged bulk carrier, whilst underway in the Philip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew spotted one perpetrator with a gun-like object on the starboard side of the vessel, and another four unarmed perpetrators in the engine room. The Master has reported that all crew are safe and that nothing is reported stolen. The vessel is continuing to her next port of call in Singapore.
