It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a bulk carrier whilst transiting through the Philip Channel, Singapore Strait. The crew spotted four perpetrators armed with knives and raised the alarm. Seeing the crews readiness the perpetrators made their escape. The Master has reported that all crew are safe and that some ship’s stores were reported missing. The incident has been reported and is being investigated by the Singapore Coast guard.
