| It has been reported there has been an attempted robbery on a Liberian-flagged bulk carrier while anchored approximately 8nm south of Lome, Togo. The vessel was approached by a small craft with seven perpetrators on board which then circled the vessel. The crew of the bulk carrier illuminated the suspicious craft with a flood light which resulted in it leaving the area. Approximately twenty-four hours later the bulk carrier was approached again by the small craft and were circled multiple times before coming along side. The duty crew shone the flood light at the perpetrators which again resulted in the small craft leaving the area. | |||||
