It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Marshall Islands-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Four perpetrators armed with knives were seen in the engine room. The Captain reported that all crew were safe, the vessel did not require any assistance, and that spare parts from the engine room had been stolen. The bulk carrier continued on her voyage to Singapore.
