It has been reported that a Wallis Futuna Island-flagged passenger ship was approached by four Unmanned Aerial Vehicles approximately 97nm Northwest of Yanbu. Later at 2100 UTC, the vessel reported being surrounded by five Unmanned Aerial Vehicles; two on the portside, one in front of the bow, and two on the starboard side however, the vehicles left without incident and the crew and vessel are safe. Further information has been received from the authorities confirming that they were United States surveillance drones.
