It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a general cargo ship whilst anchored at Chittagong anchorage, Bangladesh. Five perpetrators gained access from a wooden boat and stole approximately thirty paint cans. The Captain reported that all crew were safe and informed the Bangladesh coast guards. The anti-smuggling team investigated the incident and on the 6th of April apprehended the robbers and returned the stolen property. The perpetrators were then turned over to the local police.
