The UKMTO has received reports from several vessels that have experienced GPS interference in the Red Sea area. The disruptions have lasted for several hours and have affected navigation systems, requiring vessels to rely on contingency methods. Masters who experience disruption to electronic navigation systems (GPS / AIS / Other PNT) anywhere within the UKMTO Voluntary Reporting Area (VRA) are requested to contact UKMTO watchkeepers via [email protected] or 02392 222065.
