It has been reported that an attack on a passenger boat took place whilst underway from Bonny to Port Harcourt, Bonny River, Rivers state, Nigeria. The Nigerian Navy received a distress call whilst on routine patrol and duly intervened. The four perpetrators, one armed with a rifle, fled the scene. The 15 Passengers are reported as safe.
