It has been reported that an attempted Robbery has taken place on a Bangladesh-flagged Bulk carrier whilst underway the Eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. The crew reported seeing two robbers armed with gun like objects in the engine room which resulted in the perpetrators escaping. All crew have been reported as safe and accounted for, the vessel did not require assistance and has continued on her voyage to Singapore.
