The UKMTO has issued a notice from the Joint Maritime Information Centre, advising that, following retaliatory attacks by the Yemeni Armed Forces on U.S. Naval assets, there is an elevated risk of collateral damage to merchant vessels transiting the Red Sea. Vessel's operating in this region are advised to follow the Maritime Security Corridor and keep clear of U.S. Naval vessels, remaining vigilant, and reporting any unusual activity to the UKMTO.
