It has been reported that a robbery has occurred onboard a containership whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crewmen observed two perpetrators on deck armed with knives. The alarm was raised which resulted in the robbers escaping with items of ship's stores. The Captain reported that the crew are safe, the vessel does not require any assistance and will continue her transit to Vietnam.
