| It has been reported that a robbery occurred on a container ship whilst underway in the Eastbound lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. Four robbers armed with knives and guns boarded the vessel and restrained the duty oiler, locking them in the C02 room. The second engineer discovered the duty oiler and released them. The alarm was raised and the crew mustered. A search of the vessel was conducted which confirmed the perpetrators had made their escape with stolen engine spares. | |||||
