It has been reported that there has been a robbery on a barge being towed by a Malaysian- flagged tug along the Westbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. The crew observed three sampans with a number of perpetrators onboard, alongside the barge. The Master confirmed that a quantity of scrap metal had been stolen and that crew are reported safe. The vessel does not require any assistance and is continuing to the next port of call of Port Klang, Malaysia.
