It has been reported that a robbery occurred on a Gambia-flagged tanker whilst underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew spotted up to five robbers, one armed with a gun-like object in the engine room, which resulted in the perpetrators escaping. The Master confirmed that all crew were safe and accounted for and that some engine spares were reported as stolen. The vessel continued on her voyage to Singapore.
