Open sources have reported that on the evening of 1st March 2025 (exact time not specified) a Russian missile struck the port of Odesa, Ukraine and killed two port workers, damaged port infrastructure and a Panama-flagged container vessel. UPDATE: Further reports have been received stating that a Sierra Leone-flagged cargo vessel also sustained damage as a result of the attack. Russian sources stated that the Panama-flagged container vessel loaded additional containers that were storing British sea drones and weapons supplied from NATO bases in Turkey. This has been denied by the Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister who stated that the container vessel was loaded with civilian cargo.
