| It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Barbados-Flagged Bulk Carrier whilst underway in the Phillip channel, Singapore Strait. Five robbers armed with gun-like objects were spotted in the steering gear room, which resulted in the perpetrators escaping. The Master confirmed that all crew were safe and accounted for and is unable to determine if any items have been stolen. The vessel was continuing to its next port of call in Vietnam. | |||||
