| It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a Liberian-Flagged Bulk Carrier whilst underway in the Eastbound lane of the Singapore Strait Traffic Separation Scheme. Four robbers were spotted by duty crew armed with gun-like objects in the engine room. The perpetrators escaped empty handed and the crew were unharmed. The vessel continued her voyage to Singapore without the need for any assistance. | |||||
