It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery onboard a bulk carrier while underway in the Eastbound Lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme, Singapore Strait. The Master informed that they had observed six perpetrators in the engine room armed with knives and gun like objects. All crew have been reported as safe, and no items have been reported as stolen. The vessel is continuing her voyage to Singapore.
