It has been reported that there has been a robbery onboard a Singaporean-flagged tanker while anchored at Belawan anchorage, Indonesia. Duty crew spotted two perpetrators on the port side of the main deck near the accommodation area. The bridge was notified and the alarm raised. The two robbers immediately retreated onto a small craft alongside the vessel, then escaped. A search of the tanker was conducted, and it was discovered that a PV Valve, and three Portable TC Machines had been stolen. All crew and the vessel were reported as safe.
