It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery on an Liberian-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew raised the ship's general alarm upon sighting two perpetrators armed with imitation guns. The perpetrators escaped without incident. The Master has reported that the crew are safe and nothing has been stolen. The vessel will continue her transit to her next port of call.
