It has been reported that a robbery has occurred on a Hong Kong-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the eastbound lane of the traffic separation scheme, Singapore Strait. Crew had reported seeing six perpetrators armed with knives at the port quarter of the upper deck. One of the members of crew was found tied up in the engine room. The Master reported that all the crew were safe and that some engine parts were stolen. The vessel did not require any assistance and continued her voyage to Singapore.
