It has been reported that there has been an attempted robbery on an Liberian-flagged bulk carrier while underway in the Phillip Channel, Singapore Strait. Duty crew had reported sighting four perpetrators armed with knives in the steering gear room. The Master informed that the crew are safe, and nothing has been reported as stolen. The vessel will continue her transit to Singapore.
