| It has been reported that an attempted robbery occurred on a bulk carrier whilst anchored at Chattogram Anchorage, Bangladesh. Three robbers armed with knives and iron bars were spotted attempting to break into the forecastle store by duty crew. The perpetrators threatened the duty crew member, who managed to escape and raise the alarm. The robbers then threatened a watchman who responded to the alarm, before escaping empty handed into a waiting boat with four other persons. The incident was reported to Port Control. | |||||
